What is YallaBill?
The software behind the counter.
Restaurants, bars and lounges use YallaBill to run their business: the menu you see on your phone, the screen the kitchen reads, the tab your server keeps open, the checkout, and the receipt. It runs on the phones and tablets the staff already carry, so the place can spend on food and people instead of hardware.
Yalla is Arabic for "let's go!", which is roughly how long checkout takes.

Scan
Point your camera at the QR code on your table. The menu opens in your browser and already knows which table you're at.

Browse or ask
Tap through the menu, or ask the ordering assistant: "something spicy, no pork" or "what goes with the lamb?" It only suggests what's on tonight.
Voice works too -

Order
Add what you want. Leave a note for allergies or "extra ice." Add a tip if you'd like. Then place the order.
Notes go to the kitchen -

Pay
Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, or a card. One tap. The kitchen sees your order the moment it's paid.
Split with friends -

Sit back
Watch your order move: received → being made → on its way. Need something? Tap Call a server, Water & refills or Ask for the check.
Straight to staff
Prefer talking to a human? Order with your server as usual. They'll open a tab, add rounds through the night, and close it out when you're ready. You can still scan the code any time to see your bill, split it, or pay from your seat.

Fair things to ask before you tap "Pay."
Do I need to download anything?
No. Everything runs in the browser that's already on your phone. Scan and go.
Is my card information safe?
Payments are handled by Stripe, the same payment company used by millions of businesses. Your full card number goes to Stripe, encrypted, and never to the restaurant or to YallaBill. Apple Pay and Google Pay don't share your card number at all.
Am I charged extra for ordering or paying by phone?
No. The business pays for YallaBill. Nothing is added to your bill for using it.
Can I tip?
Yes, during checkout, any amount you like. Tips go to the staff.
How do we split the bill?
Open the bill from the QR code, choose how to split it (evenly, or by what each person had), and everyone pays their share from their own phone. Each person gets their own receipt.
Where's my receipt?
On your order page, right after you pay. It stays open in your browser; save or screenshot it. Refunds, if any, show up there too and go back to the card you paid with.
Why did it ask for my name?
So the runner knows who to look for when your food is ready. A first name is fine.
Will I start getting texts?
Only if you say yes. Some venues offer rewards or send occasional offers by text or email. It's always opt-in, and you can reply STOP any time to leave.
Something's wrong with my order.
Tell a team member. They can fix or remove an item on the spot, and any refund goes straight back to your card and shows on your receipt.
Why was I asked for ID?
Items like alcohol and hookah are age-restricted. You can add them to your order, but staff must check your ID before they're served.
